SELF-CONTAINED FLEXIBLE SHAFTS
THE TOOL THAT STARTED AN INDUSTRY
For grinding, sanding, buffing, polishing, wire brushing, and hundreds of other uses, even in the most inaccessible areas, the Self-contained Flexible Shaft is the most economical way to enjoy all of the benefits of Flexible Shafting.
Designed to be used with your own power source electric motor gasoline engine drill press buffing lathe power takeoff any rotating spindle.
The Self-contained Flexible Shaft attaches quickly and securely and is ready to use right out of the box. Simply connect to your power source, attach your abrasive, and start working.
Self-contained Flexible Shafts consist of an inner core, an outer casing, a motorend and a handpiece.
INNER CORE Constructed of high-tensile wire. The heart of the Flexible Shaft. Transmits torque and rotation from the power source to the working end of the shaft.
OUTER CASING Tough, abrasion resistant cover supports and shields the inner core. It protects the user from the rotating inner core and allows the Flexible Shaft to be handled safely while operating. Has 2 protection springs (on either end) to prevent severe wear at these critical areas.
MOTOREND Built with double shielded ball bearings for long life and cool running. Sized to fit over output spindle of power source. Connects Flexible Shaft to power source. Locks onto output spindle with a socket set screw.
